I promise all the students of IGU Meerpur-Rewari for innovative and creative ecosystem for teaching, learning and beyond, having responsive culture and access to intellectual resources so as to cultivate and fine-tune their potential for success. All these requirements have been integrated and made available at one platform in IGU. I believe in new beginnings because of my incorrigible optimistic nature. I have unflinching faith in the meaningful existence of Universities as they are the foundation stones of tomorrow. It is, therefore, expected that IGU would extend the frontier of history to become the Next Gen University-the centre of excellence. It would constantly register its presence in unchartered areas. The University has now ventured into some professional job- oriented fields by introducing courses like Biotechnology, Psychology and Master in Social Works. To remain relevant, current and competent in the era of disruptive technologies and Industry 4.0, in the sector of higher education sector, we have now taken a conscious decision to turn IGU 4.0, a innovation -led research- intensive University, with the ambience filled with energy, enthusiasm and responsive culture. The synergy of the youth and the experience of the old combine here into a force with the help of which the University dreams of creating a niche for itself in the world of knowledge. This provides space for learning , incubation and employment process. This enables the individual to walk in with an idea and become an entrepreneur. The University has also launched an ambitious programme of revising and updating the syllabi of various teaching programmes based on Choice Based Credit System and plans to take an inter-disciplinary approach in order to equip its students for future challenges. We have started our visioning process from an “Outside-in” view of what our State, Nation and World need, reflecting on the very real opportunities for our students, staff and partners to serve the public good. We dedicate ourselves to being the engine of innovation, upward social mobility and individual and collective prosperity to push forward assertively to strengthen the diverse urban & rural institutions and will leave no stone unturned to impact educational opportunities.
